Originally from Southern California, John Blue is a seasoned leader with a diverse background spanning sports, corporate training, and ministry. Leaving home at 17 to pursue a hockey career, he earned a scholarship to the University of Minnesota. John's athletic prowess led him to represent the US on the 1988 Olympic hockey team and participate in three world championships, leaving an indelible mark on the international sports stage. 

 During his 10-year professional hockey career, John played for esteemed teams such as the Boston Bruins and the Buffalo Sabres. Post-NHL retirement, he embarked on a new journey, moving to Austin, TX, where he engaged in ministry with collegiate and professional athletes, simultaneously contributing to church planting initiatives across the United States. 

 In 2006, John and his wife, Chris, returned to Southern California, planting Pacific Point Church. Serving as the Director of Mission O.C. John channeled his passion into facilitating Non-prophet growth and leadership development in Orange County and beyond. John seamlessly transitions into the corporate realm, utilizing his leadership expertise to collaborate with diverse organizations such as 3 Brothers Restaurants LLC, Del Taco, Jack in the Box, L Space, Array Legal Services, University of Texas Football, Boise State Football, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, and several other professional sports teams. Notably, John and his wife, Chris, are sought-after speakers at marriage conferences, sharing their insights on building strong and enduring relationships.

Residing in Newport Beach, CA, near to their five children, and four grandchildren, John continues to make a positive impact, bridging the worlds of sports, corporate leadership, and ministry.
